I've seriously lost my motivation to draw anything, be it commissions or stuff I like and want to do. You ever been in that situation, and what helped you out of it? D=

Yep… it’s a really bad situation to be in.  First off, I want you to think about ideas that really get you raring to go.  Then, go look at a bunch of artwork by your favorite artists — browse pixiv or dA and look for new artists, too.  Just spend a couple of hours looking for really awesome/funny/cute/amazing art that makes you feel happy to even look at it.  Then.. don’t draw yet.  You’ll compare your work to everything you’ve just drawn if you draw immediately after.  Take some time to read a story that you like, or maybe a few stories.  Maybe write down some ideas or think about some things that come to mind.  THEN! The next day, that’s when you should draw.  Focus on some aspect you havent focused on before, like maybe specialized inkwork or working with monotone pieces or just something that can get you thinking about art in a different way.

You don’t gotta follow all these steps or even do them in any particular order,  but it’s the one that helps me out when I’m feeling down
