Hey! You're a cat person, right? I've been wondering since my dad asked today, but do you know anything about hypoallergenic cats?

There are some: http://www.catster.com/cat-breeds/hypoallergenic-cat-breeds

If it’s a severe allergic, a sphynx would be a good choice — the breeder I got my cat from had two kids both allergic to cats, but they were fine around sphynxes.  Of course, you want to test it and have the person around the animals you’re thinking about getting first!  Just because Sphynxes don’t have fur doesn’t mean they can’t cause allergic reactions — they accumulate oil on their skin and under their nails, which is what has the allergens… so handling the cat will still result in allergic reactions for some people! I’m not a super expert on this, but this is what I do know about it.  I hope that helps!
