This tumblr user will not listen to us about how important it is to source people’s artwork!! I’ve already reported this person with this message:
Someone with the URL “mutilatedman” has made countless posts degrading artists on the internet who want their art to be sourced back to where it was originally uploaded. Regardless of it being fanwork, there has been a huge dilemma with pixiv users who either have their art work stolen, edited, and posted on countless sites without their permission. Sourcing the original content is important when posting art from pixiv, if not, many of these artists will feel discouraged to continue uploading their work onto their site. As a matter in fact, countless of them have either set the work on private or deleted their accounts due to the lack of attention they are actually receiving. Tumblr user mutilatedman’s behavior upon this situation is unacceptable and could even get in a lot of trouble over this. These are the links and screenshots for evidence.

Please do something about this immediately, we the artists and art appreciators are very concerned with people like this; It is certainly most intolerable.
If it’s not too much to ask, I want as many of you as possible to to let the staff know about this!!! Unsourced artwork has been a huge problem for a while but I’ve never seen someone this absolutely disgusting who would treat other artists this way! If they won’t learn their lesson, then it’s time to actually do something about this!
I genuinely hope this person gets what is coming to them. Karma is not often friendly. But mostly I just hope their IP gets banned from this website.

i’m not saying that not sourcing your posts is right but to go and bully someone for not doing it? wow i thought you where better than this, tumblr.
he’s probably famous cause there’s a lot of worse tumblr things than “not sourcing” for example, deleting the source or taking the credit for it.
Going back in their posts, this person has nothing but animosity and cruel words to say in regards to artists, their rights to something as simple as a credit let alone a source, and etc. They think that fanart isn’t real art worthy of attention or credit.
Yeah I get that there were some harsh words thrown around but that person genuinely deserves punishment for their behavior because they’re acting like a selfish, petulant child. Posting art without a source or a credit can be considered stealing. And is still punishable. They’ve made their bed, and now they have to lay in it.
This issue has been building up for years and the tumblr artist community just broke like a wave on this person. It wasn’t the right way to deal with it. I get that. But maybe it will spark likeminded individuals into just finding the damn source, y’know? It’s not as though it’s difficult. And if this all ends with the majority of the tumblr subculture regarding sourceless reposters as scum, well then, as someone who’s work has been reposted constantly during a time when I needed financial help from potential fans, I can’t honestly say that I would be upset by that.
In any case, this specific person has shown nothing but disrespect since before this blew up in their face, and I hope the Tumblr staff does something about it. Removing their blog, for instance. Or better, banning their IP.
In short: I still genuinely hope this person gets what is coming to them.
